Hey. Looking for any advice/feedback on my system specs I'm planning on building. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I already have my graphics card and power supply so I won't be needing to buy them, and they won't be included in my $900 budget!

Approximate Purchase Date: Next few days/after advice.

Budget Range: $900 not including my gpu & power supply, after shipping.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing net/listening to music, watching movies

Are you buying a monitor: No, using Shimian 27" QH270.

Parts to Upgrade: CPU, CPU cooler, mobo, memory, case.

Do you need to buy OS: No.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Preferably all from the one website, any website that ships to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Post code is 7005 for shipping costs. Using:
http://www.mwave.com.au for this post.

Location: Hobart (city), Tasmania (state), Australia. Postcode is 7005.

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU.

Overclocking: No.

SLI or Crossfire: No.

Additional Comments: Playing wow, would love to have it on respectable graphics while running skype/google chrome open with multiple tabs, itunes and skype easily without any hassle.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Old computer, 5/6 years old.

My GPU that I have and plan to use in this build is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti DCII
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

My power supply is: A generic ATX 760W power supply.

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K Unlocked Quad Core 3rd Gen Processor - $235

CPU cooler: Antec KUHLER H2O 620 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - $79
http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-18030273-Antec_KUHLER_H2O_6...

Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard - $139
http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-28023710-ASRock_Z77_Extreme...

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB(2x 4GB) DDR3 Memory Kit - $49
http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-37140823-GSkill_Ripjaws_X_8...

Case: In Win Dragon Rider Case - Black ATX Full Tower - $99
http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-16011527-In_Win_Dragon_Ride...

Storage

SATA: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 3.5" 2TB SATA - $100
http://www.mwave.com.au/listCombo.asp?CartID=mAU@ST7EBU...

SSD: Samsung 830 Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (SSD) - $100
http://www.mwave.com.au/sku-22140690-Samsung_830_Series...

So total cost after shipping = $836 (shipping cost of $30). Thinking most about necessity of cooling system/making sure all compatible, best combination of parts that go well with my existing graphics card and power supply.

Thanks for your time!

Are you sure that that power supply is reliable? You didn't just pull it out of an old computer? Some of the bad generic ones sometimes don't supply there rated wattage. That's an excellent build, and that motherboard is one of the best bang for buck boards. Good luck with the build.

Quick question from me to you, is that shimian a good monitor- not too many dead pixels or serious defects? I've been considering getting one.

Yeah the psu is reliable, bought it about 3 months ago, using in old computer at the moment.

Would it affect build at all if I was to use Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO instead of the Antec Kuhler 620. Save $40 if i get the 212 evo.

Shimian is great, had it for about a month now. Reviews online say you're expected to get a few dead pixels but I have no defects and no dead pixels that I can notice.
Thanks for comment.

No, it would be fine to use the cooler master 121, it's regarded as one of the best budget heat sinks around, and ANYTHING is better than what intel bundles as stock with there processors. If you weren't over locking, than the intel is fin though.
Overall, excellent and very solid build, you should be very happy.
No worrys, I live in Victoria, so anything with Australia in it draws me to have a look :)
