580GTX SLI

Hi everyone.
i want to create an sli seup with 2 580gtx cards.
One is 580gtx msi frozr 2 and the other is 580gtx msi frozr 3.
Is that possible? do i have to fix something to make it work?

It will work.Don't you worry.They are the same cards with different coolers.

They will work in SLI, just make sure you have all the components for enabling it, SLI Ready motherboard,Sli Bridge, Power Supply good enough.

Also if i'm not mistaken the gtx 580 twinFrozr3 is slightly overclocked, when messing around with SLI it is good to sync both Gpu Clock Speeds, you can use MSI afterburner for that.

yes, but you know, there are many ways of acquiring your computer, and a lot of prople throw stuff away. really just to make sure that @OP would not forgot to use it.

Yes but I'm just hoping that those who do not have one without the other might now be asking either, why? Or do I have a Crossfire only motherboard?
