Slocket for Abit BX6 Rev 2

I am helping a friend to upgrade his system to 1Ghz P3. He brought a P3 processor and a slocket. He brought a cheap slocket that does not have Core Votage setting for CPU. Can this slocket work with Abit BX6 Rev 2?
Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the BX6r2 has the proper voltage for the PIII 1000EB, no need for manual voltage changes, unless he want's to overclock.
