CD-R 90 min problems

I got a plextor writer PX-R820T (8X) firmware V1.08 and I'd like to burn audio CD of about 90 min. I bought CDs blank of 90 min and i'd like to know if and how I could burn them on these blanks (first how many min may I write with my writer at max?)
Any help appreciated.
thanks.

  1. Lots of information found right here on Tom's Hardware:

  2. Unless you find someone that has specifically tested it, you'll only find out by trying it. Needless to say, your burner will have to support overburning, which I think every plextor ever made has.

Burn at 4x, and see how far it'll go. Start with 91 minutes, and see when/if it locks up.
