Cheapest UK/USA Canon EF 100-400mm 4.5-5.6 IS ?

With the exception of eBay, I doubt you will find it much below $1000 US. At
that price point, it's probably grey market anyway.

As an aside, I have dropped the 100-400 from my consideration list as I
don't care for the "push/pull" zoom that the 100-400 uses. You might also
try the 70-300 DO lens. That might be an acceptable alternative and it's
much lighter.
