CPU: i5 2400 3.7ghz
RAM: 2x4gb corsair ram 1600mhz cl9 1.5v
MB: ga-p67a-d3-b3
HDD: 7200rpm WD caviar blue

I don't see anything I would upgrade. What power supply are you running?

Got the psu 1 year ago, exactly 1 year ago, in November. Active PFC is a good thing btw?

So everything's fine? I'm worried that the next console gen would produce even more badly optimized ports that would require even more processing power...

I would go with a nice new power supply. One from Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, or PC Power & Cooling.

I'd second this - especially if you want to Crossfire that 7850.
!
