Hello community, I am hoping to get my first DIY build this year for christmas.
I am on a budget of 600 at the absolute maximum and cheaper is better. So far, this is the parts im buying.

Do you need an operating system?

I can't tell what processor you picked, but I would recommend one of the Piledriver processors over the older Bulldozer ones.

I would also go with a stronger GPU over the 650Ti. The 7850 is much better and costs about $30 more.

3.6GHz quad core Zambezi? That's the FX-4100. I agree, the FX-4300 would be significantly faster.
