Bad Winbond, S.M.A.R.T. error, GPU Fan not working on new build

Hi guys,

I am an avid gamer although not a very tech savvy guy. I bought a new computer and I picked out the parts but the store assembled it for me and I cannot open the tower side panel or else they said I will void the warranty (It's sealed with a sticker).

After I installed Windows, I started to get all these problems after the computer rebooted. I got a "Fan error", and a "S.M.A.R.T status bad, backup and replace". So I went to BIOS and flashed it to the newest firmware but the errors never disappeared. So I decided to ignore it first and try using the machine.

After installing all the drivers I tried to play Skyrim on it. It was perfect for a few minutes but then suddenly the monitor turned off but I noticed the machine is still on but non-responsive.

I ran all these tests I found on some forums as suggested by other people.

First up I ran SpeedFan and the preliminary diagnosis was:

After seeing the problem with the HD I decided to run a S.M.A.R.T. report from HD Scan 3.3:

Then I ran a 3D test with OCCT coupled with HWMonitor to check the GPU Fan:

As you can see the GPU fan remains at 0 rpm which I do not understand why. Also after leaving the test for about 10 minutes the GPU temp reaches 90 celsius and the the display turns off (like when I was playing Skyrim)

So with all of these, I think I can summarize the problems of my machine into three things:
1. Bad Winbond chip on the motherboard
2. Bad S.M.A.R.T. status on the HDD
3. GPU Fan not working at all

Now what I would like to know is that if somebody can explain what these three things mean and what are the possible causes for this to happen on a 1-day old machine. I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find an explanation that I can fully understand.

Oh and by the way my machine specs are linked below:

I am heading back to the store where I bought this tomorrow and I wouldn't want to go there without understanding the problem. I want to be able to know that I'm not being double crossed by the people from the store.

Thanks!
