Will my cpu bottleneck?

Will my AMD Athlon x2 6000+ 3.0GHz CPU bottleneck a Radeon HD 6870?

I'm getting about 20-30 fps on BF3 right now with a 9800GT at a low resolution. Will I see a performance increase if I upgrade my GPU?

That CPU is over 4 years old. It is bottlenecking.
