System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming,3ds max, photoshop, surfing the internet, and some video editing

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: Don't have anything so everything

Do you need to buy OS: Maybe

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com or whatever is cheaper

Location: Winchester, California

Parts Preferences: Doesn't matter to me.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, but probably not

Your Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024 as long as it doesn't break the bank, the bigger the better (resolution wise)

I have put this together to give high performance in both gaming, and video editing, especially with photoshop. If you don't need that good a photo/video standard, you could drop to i5-3570K, and 8GB (2x4GB) of RAM. Have also allowed PSU capable of handling 2nd GPU, in SLi, and high quality monitor. Not suggested keyboard/mouse, as that really depends what you want.

Mostly ok, but do you need 16GB of RAM. If you do, get it as 2X8GB. Use GSKill Ares, Crucial Ballistix Sport, or Corsair CML. You only really need 8GB for gaming. If getting 8GB, get it as 2x4GB, same type as above.

Well it comes 4x4 with G.skill and it's always nice to have a little extra and for the price it's not that bad.
