Hi,

I'm planning to buy one 60GB 7200RPM hard drive? and I saw these two--Seagate Barracuda IV 60GB and Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 60GB, which one is better?

Thank you~

If you have the choice of the Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 60 I would go with that. They also have a new series out of ATA133 drives under the D740X series. Those look promising!

Other then that I have nothing against Seagate. Those drives I listed from Maxtor are pretty good performers on top of their reliability (The DM+ 60 that is, the D740X is to early to tell).
