How To Build Around a C606 Chipset (X79S)

How exactly do I build around this?

GIGABYTE GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI LGA 2011 Intel C606 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128563

I received it for free, and I have never built a computer before. I am not sure if I can make a gaming computer from this motherboard. From what I read online it seems to be a server motherboard. If this can't be suitable for a gaming computer then I probably will sell it.


Budget Range: $800

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming/OC-ing

Items Already Owned: 27" Catleap monitor, the C606 board, Zalman Closed Loop Liquid CPU Cooler

Looking For: A compatible GPU (hoping hd7950 would work with mobo), a CPU compatible with this board, a compatible case, a compatible PSU.

Any case that can fit a EATX board will work. Any PSU will work. Any GPU will work. As for a CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117270 this might work.
