Best PCI video card for an old pc.

I have an 8 year old XP system. The monitor went black. After checking everything I believe the intergrated video card is no longer working. I want to place a pci card in an open slot and hopefully bypass the intergrated card and get my monitor working again. This system is only used for internet work. What is the best and least expensive card to use.
