Now all I need your help is to decide which motherboard i should be getting and what graphics card along with power supply i should be getting.
Note: I am a pc gammer that is into new type of games that come out every year.

My Budget is $600. Please make sure to put links if you could find the item on amazon or what not. Thanks.

What kind of graphics performance are you looking for? Mid-range, entry-level?

You are going to need
motherboard , cpu , RAM and a graphics card

You are also going to need a copy of windows since the copy you have definitely wont install on a hard drive connected to a new motherboard , and you cant just plug the hard drive you have into a new motherboard and boot up .

Here would be my selection
windows 8 oem 64 bit $100
Asrock 970 Extreme4 AM3+ motherboard $105
AMD FX 6300 $140 , or alternately use the phenom for $90
2 x4 gig of DDR3 RAM . 1600 Mhz and rated for 1.5 volts or less $40
Gigabyte Radeon 7870 $240

You will also need a new 500 watt power supply.
The 300 watt unit in the computer just wont handle the laod

To replace the motherboard you are essentially going to have to build an entirely new machine

If it is the copy that shipped with the computer it will not install on a new system . If it is a retail or unused oem disk then you can install it on the new hardware . If using 32 bit then only fit 2 x2 gig of RAM

Its probably better to have a $700 budget and replace everything . Then you can connect the old computer and transfer all your files and settings to the new system
