How to fix input not supported in led monitor

i have aoc monitor and p4 processor cpu and gigabyte mother board and 1gb ram my monitor was displaying message input notsupport message when i am loading os xp3 so please help me.

can you give us the model number for the monitor? look through the monitors spec page or manual and find what resolutions/settings are supported...turn the computer on and press f8 and boot into safe mode from there you can change the display settings in windows and then shut down and it should carry over to regular windows...change the display settings to a setting that is supported by the monitor.
