High idle temp?

I just installed a brand new Sapphire HD 6870 and its idling at 57C. Is this normal or is the card shot out the box? CPU is sitting at 30C right now and everything is in a HAF X with 1 200mm side intake, 1 230mm front intake, 2 200mm top exhaust, and a 140mm rear exhaust.

That pretty high for idle temps. Maybe tinker with fan profiles annd see if you can get better temps on it.

MSI afterburner has pretty good fan profiling software on it and will also let you overclock it.

Thanks, I'll try afterburner once my windows 7 disc is through burning. Loaded ubuntu 12.04 to make sure new build was working okay.
