New First PC Build

Hey Tom's Hardware community.
First I'd like to say that I'm comparing things with the price of newegg.ca, because I'm from portugal, but have a relative in Canada, so I'll ask him to buy the parts there (he will come back 13 of November). Before tell him what to buy I'd like you to give a bit of feedback about the new build I put together. (BTW, I don't know if the price in newegg.ca is in us dollars or Canadian dollars. probably the last one.)

More about build
  1. The only thing I would change is the power supply. Raidmax generally does not make very good units. You are going to want to stick with Antec, Corsair, or Seasonic and PC Power & Cooling.
  2. Yes, the pc is mainly for gaming.

Okay, so I picked this memory modules: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233186
    And this power supply: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018
    Good to go?
  3. The ModXStream is not a reliable unit either I'm not going to lie.

  4. Okay then, I'll take that one.
Now I just need to check the additional baggage prices and the size of the packages with the parts, specially the case. If anyone can help with that it would be great :D
And thank you for the help you gave!
  5. There are better PSU's out there but there's nothing wrong with that OCZ.
  6. I found this one too: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095
    Any thoughts about it?
  7. One of the best.
  8. Yeah Seasonic are excellent, that is definitely a good choice.
  9. Sorry to keep with this thread, but I can't find that power supply in the shop I'm using. Is this one a good replacement: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139031 ?
  10. I believe that is almost the same PSU as the Seasonic with a different sticker on it.
  11. Great power supply as well.
  12. buy the case in portuagle or you may be paying a lot for baggage
  13. yeah, realized that xD I'm buying the case, and probably the motherboard, here. The difference between prices from Canada to Portugal is almost 30€ per piece...
