Gaming PC Specs

So I had asked before about a project of building my own gaming PC and was given some ideas. So I do recording for YouTube, but I need a better gaming computer so I gathered information and I would like to know if people who have built their own gaming computers think this would be able to play games like Assassin's Creed or Battlefield 3 with high fps with FRAPS?

CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.40 Ghz 8MB Cache Quad-core Processor

RAM Crucial Ballistix 8GB (4GB x 2)

Case Zalman Z11

Hard Drive 2TB SATA

DVD Asus DRW-24B5ST 24x Internal SATA DVD Drive

GPU Sapphire Card 2GB HD7850

Operating system Windows 8

Power Supply Corsair 600W Power Supply

Motherboard Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard

This is only a rough idea which is why I am asking on here to see if I can find out.

  1. What's your max budget? Do you need to buy Windows 8?

The Phenom II is not bad, but it's aged. It's easily outdone by an i5 or new FX.
  2. Could you fill this out:

Judging by what you have, your budget is around $650. With that said.

Check out my $650 build here:

If you want to record, I'd recommend a better GPU especially for BF3. Also, as stated, the new Piledriver chips would be better per used in my build.

    Windows 7 is cheaper here:

But if you want you can always get Windows 8. It's pretty cheap especially at Costco.
