Wireless Switch will not turn on!!

Hello,

wireless was working fine on my toshiba laptop but not the light has gone out on the switch at the front and wont turn back on. I cant connect to the net wireless. I can still connect through ethernet cable though.

I tried FN F8 and that doesnt work either.
I checked the drivers and all says its working fine and the latest drivers are installed. all updates are current!

Is there a switch somewhere on the laptop that turns the wireless off and on? Look for a little slide switch =D

Yes, as i said above, the wireless switch will not turn on. I can slide the switch to on, and off, and nothing happens. It doesnt respond to that OR the FN f8.
