Hi all,

several months ago I built a system from the following components:

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 So.1155 Dual Channel DDR3 ATX
Intel Core i5 3550 4x 3.30GHz So.1155 BOX
16GB Corsair Vengeance LP Black DDR3-1600 DIMM CL10 Dual Kit
680 Watt be quiet! Straight Power E8 CM Modular 80+ Silver

After around two weeks of usage the system started crashing. When it crashes - the display image gets distorted, as shown in the picture:

.

There is also a loud noise coming out of the speakers. These crashes happen at a rate of about once per two-three days. After reset everything works fine again.

All of the components work at the factory settings - nothing is overclocked. EasyTune utility from Gigabyte measures the following temperatures:
CPU: 36 C
System: 42 C
PCH: 64 C

I am using integrated graphics from the i5 CPU, so there is no external graphics card involved. The main question is: which one of those components listed above is, in your opinion, the candidate #1 to be causing the trouble?

Hmm... Ok. I would not have thought of that - this is probably the "best" case scenario. So, you would propose to look for an update of the motherboard drivers, I suppose?
