Prior to installing the latest "automatic Updated" on my
computer, I could put a cd-RW disc in my external, IOMEGA
16x10x40 USB CD-ROM drive and could write directly to it
from Windows explorer. After the update the WRITE THESE
FILES TO CD option was removed and when I restart my
machine I get an error that says "Device disabled, etc"

If anyone has a clue on how to resolve this, I would
greatly appreciate it.... I use this feature a lot, and
need to get it back to the way it was.... is there a way
to remove the latest AUTOMATIC UPDATE? Or is there a way
to make the CD-RW drive visible?
