Approximate Purchase Date: Within month or two of posting this thread

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) 700-800 after rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, school, etc.

Are you buying a monitor: no

Do you need to buy OS: no

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: microcenter and newegg

Location: Twin Cities, Minnesota

Parts Preferences: intel cpu, amd gpu

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire:No

Additional Comments: Plain on buying the CPU and motherboard at microcenter since they are having a deal on that right now. Would like a reccomendation for optical drive and wireless card.

Optical drive just needs to burn CDs and wireless card needs to be there because that's the only way he's going to be able to connect to the internet.

More about making system friend price please
  1. Link requires a Newegg ID, make the list public.
  2. I wish people would just take the time to copy and paste, and list it out instead of posting shopping carts
  3. ^
Might want to reduce the size of that signature before a mod finds it.
  4. Aww, I was enjoying it. D=

    The list is still private.

The components are pretty good, would change the SSD to a Vertex 4 or Samsung 830 though.
