  1. Link requires a Newegg ID, make the list public or just paste it here.
  2. Also i am trying to keep it ALL in 1800
  3. Motherboard and CPU (which is overkill) are incompatible. 2011 chip and 1155 mobo.
Dont need 16GB of RAM for a gaming rig.
PSU is way overkill (as in double the maximum you could possibly need)
    Mobo isn't that great.
  4. Should I change the motherboard or the processor ? and the PSU was only around 30-50 bucks more than a 900/800
and with the radeon i thought it would be best to go big lol, 16gigs is what i want because i will be editing and i am more comfortable with past exp with ram :p
i was originally going to get would that be a better idea?
  5. That's still lga 1155, incompatible with your processor.

That processor isn't the best choice, the i7 3770k is a better choice.

    I'd suggest this build:
It's above budget by about $150. I'm sure others can pull the price to within budget though.

    i7 3930k
    Radeon 7970 GHZ @1.1
    LGA 2011 MBO
    32 GB of ddr3 RAM @1600 mhz
    1 TB hard drive
    Same case
    23 inch monitor
  6. It says this at the bottom would this change anything? "ASRock X79 Extreme6 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Azza Solano 1000R ATX Full Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports."
i probably will use that build it looks nice :D just change the monitor
  7. I'm not really sure, I'm not an expert on Mother Boards/Cases. I am more into graphics cards and processors.
I don't think it makes a difference though.
  8. comp usa
and ncix us are trusted websites?
  9. Ncix is, I've never used comp usa, might try looking for reviews.
