If you want to overclock, you are going to need a Z77 motherboard as well as a CPU cooler.

Rest looks fine.

Only thing I could think that would might need to change would be the PSU, but it looks to have adequate amps on the 12V rail.

first you cant overclock with that motherboard you need a z77 motherboard and need a aftermarket cooler. second that case is kind of old even though cases don't age much.

I know people don't like when there system gets scraped but this probably as much as you can pack into $800

A minor issue, stating that the case has USB 2.0 front panel connectors, but the Z77 board has an optional 3.0 connector.

This should not be any problem.

So will that build be the best bang for my buck?

What is the possibility that some if not most of these parts will go on sale during black friday? Im tempted to buy it now but I dont want to regret not waiting for a couple more weeks and buy them even cheaper

There might be some parts, but not all. You're welcome to wait.
