Hello,

I bought every component for my new PC except for the GPU.
I will use the PC for gaming (1080p), watching movies and internet.
I'm going to overclock the CPU a little bit (4.0-4.2GHz).
My components are:

Core i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz + CM Hyper 212+ (190$ + 25$)
AsRock Z77 Pro3 (45$)
2x4GB G.Skill Sniper 1600mhz (39$)
1TB WD Caviar Black (90$)
Corsair CX600w (60$)

I was thinking to buy GTX560, the TwinFrozr II edition from MSI (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127593), as it has good overclocking potential.

Is this a good deal, or is there something better for that price range, please respond.

All the best

If your budget is $150-$175 yes that is the best card imo you can get right now oc very good runs cool and is a decent card if you can step your budget up to $220 you could get a 7850 or gtx 570 both are much better than that card.

If he can't afford to get that then there is plenty reason for him to get what hes asking about ;)

But if he can only afford a $150 gpu why is he spending $215 on the cpu?

He'd get more fps with a 7850 and i5 3450 than a 560 and a i5 3570k

I don't know the answer to your question only the poster can answer that maybe they prefer overclocking and a 560 :na: i understand what your trying to say though ;)

Hello folks,

the CPU is great for me coz the build is not strictly for "most fps for the money" but I'll be using it for a lot more things.

Is the HD6950 worth considering ?
I am going to find some benchmarks now to see the difference.

Any other thoughts are welcome.

Well it is worth it because a 560 TI trade blows with 6950 in the end the 6950 is the better card it has 2gb vram vs 1gb on top of that your looking at a non ti version which in theory means the 6950 would best it all the way around

1gb vram on graphic cards can easily get eaten up at 1080p, which is the resolution you stated.
A 6950 can usually be unlocked to a 6970 and they overclock very well.
For the price range your looking for it's a good choice, unless anyone else can suggest better.

can't be unlocked anymore

Geez, if graphics cards were only that cheap where I live...

The best thing I can get for $200 is currently an HD 6850 (and an HD 6870 when it goes on sale.)

GTX 560 Ti cards are between $215 and $250 where I live.
