Linksys router connection problem

my wireless is working but I want to password protect and i cant get to 192.168.1.1 just sits their

Press Start and click Run.
In the run box type "cmd" with no quotes and press enter.
In the command prompt that pops up type "/ipconfig" with no quotes

Look for the text "Default Gateway". Type the IP listed there into your browser address bar.
