You wouldn't need to change anything, to overclock. CPU and mobo are both capable, and cooler is adequate for moderate overclocking. For agressive OC, you may want more powerful cooler, but not otherwise. The HD7950 will be capable of some overclocking, although how far you can take it is a little bit luck of the draw, with the specific card.

For the 7950, it's not as much luck of the draw (although that does matter) as it is getting the right model.

That's a good 7950 AFAIK. I don't have personal experience with that model, but the Asus DCII TOP cards are usually excellent and the factory overclock on that card is very high.

I can't suggest anything for SLI/CFX that bests that 7950 without getting more expensive such as two Radeon 7870s or two GTX 660s.
