Unable to update driver

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.device_driver.dev (More info?)

I have a Linksys wireless network card. I am trying to
update the driver for it. Linksys has sent me the latest
driver and I have followed the directions exactly many
times but Windows XP always says that it cannot find a
better driver so it won't update it.

Any ideas? Linksys is at a loss.
