Wow download problems

I have a dell and i think i picked up a virus on it while I was trying to get the lag fixed using smoothping. Suddenly the launcher couldnt find the wow game. I did some scouting around and found it still in the download file. Havent tried anything with it yet. I am not computer literate. Just looking for a solution. Most people would know how to do this but not me.

Hmm.. try downloading some freebee antivirus/spyware/malware shenanigans
the suite I like to use is:
-Spybot search and destroy
-Avast Antivirus
-Malwarebytes free edition
-CCleaner to clean out your registry
I'm not sure if this will work as this might just launch the launcher but try finding the WoW.exe in your game's directory and click that..

if you can't find wow.exe then you can always open Run and type wow.exe and hit enter
