Higher Frame Rate

i was wondering if i would high frame rate by upgrading my CPU. i'm currently using a Pentium dual core e5700 clocked at GHz. for video i,m using a GTS 250 and it satisfies me. I was think of upgrading to a core i3 2100. let me know guys.

You will notice a greater frame rate, but it will be minimal. Once you do upgrade, you should think about upgrading your card as well. May I suggest the GTX 550? You can find it relatively cheap now. (Around $100)

Is this upgrade being made for gaming? If so, what type of games will you be playing? And what is your resolution you are using?

COD. NBA 2K. GTA4. Sim city 4. Need For Speed. Games like that

You should be able to play all those games fine at 1920x1080. You will need to turn graphical settings down because the 550 is more of a budget gaming card than high end.
