Need Advice with New Build

Hey Guys, i'm new to building PC's but i've read up and somewhat understand the jist of it. The biggest point is choosing the right parts. I've come up with a list after a couple of days but would like it if i could get some feed back and suggestions from you guys.

Budget: around 1000

System Usage: Gaming>surfing>homework>movies

Don't Need: monitor, mouse, keyboard, optical drive

Country: USA

I want to buy within the month but i can wait if you know of a good part coming out withing the next month

I want a computer that can handle games awesome or the best it can within $950.
i kinda think i over did it a little with this build on some parts, but if can please get some help with this id appreciate it, thank you.
 
I would go with the i5-3570K and a Z77 motherboard instead.

Also, at that price for a GPU, I would much much recommend the 7870 over the GTX570.

You can also go for this power supply that is cheaper and pretty darn good.

Also, 16GB of RAM is way way too much RAM for a gaming system. Just go with 8GB.

If you are overclocking, go for a CPU cooler, such as the Hyper 212 EVO from CoolerMaster.
