New Video Card - Driver Question

Hello,

Just purchased a HD 7870 video card, currently have a HD 6870 installed and was wondering if I need to reinstall the drivers? or will it be fine, on the AMD web site it says Drivers are for HD 6000, HD 7000 series pretty sure.

But just thought I'd ask here anyway!

Also would it be smarter to uninstall drivers then download them again?

Definitely start fresh by completely uninstalling the old drivers, restart the PC, then install the latest 12.8 drivers with the latest CAP.
