Nothing will turn on at all.

I tried the internal and external power buttons. here are the specs for my system. Brand new build and it is my first build as well. I was hoping it would go easy. as far I can see I plugged the PSU into each part, The only issue I had was the CPU, I have an 8 pin\4 pin split cable and the 8 pin cable both are hardwired and non-removable from the PSU. This seems like it would indicate both must be used, the user manual also directs you to do so, however there was only one 8 pin slot on the motherboard, I checked several times and looked in the layout as well.

Don't know that test. yes I have the switch flipped

the old paper clip trick you short the green wire to any black wire on the mobo plug (unplug it from the mobo!) that will at least turn the power supply on doesnt mean its good but will let you know its getting power

the best way is to test it in another pc.
