I have an NVIDIA 550M in my ASUS laptop. The maximum resolution on the laptop is 1366x768. Is there any way of getting my laptop to scale properly to 1920x1080 when I connect it to my 73" HDTV?
Not if you're doing display mirroring. If you did extended desktop then you could have the TV at 1080p and the laptop at it's native resolution. Otherwise your best bet would probably be to go to 1280x720 (720p).
