Hi

I currently have a NetGear DG834 Wifi Router + ADSL modem.

I am looking at replacing the device with one that sports 802.11n standard. I do not wish to get a seperate Wifi router & ADSL modem - I want both in one device. I do not need media server functionality from the device.

Currently I have a 384K line. Will be upgrading to either 1024K or 4096K soon.

I was looking at the Linksys X2000 but I am not sure?

Other options include Asus DSL-N10 & DSL-N12U?

What about D-Link & NetGear?

I want a device that is reliable, won't give me signal issues, give me the speed that it is rated at (e.g. up to 150-300Mbps etc).

Looking to spend between $100 to $140 MAX (in your currency).

These metioned brands are what I have available. Here in South Africa we don't have such a HUGE selection as in the US.

Much appreciated

Yes they do as an option. However these modems/router are generic stock ones with no extra features.

You do not have to use one recommended by them.
