7950 vs 7850 w/SSD

So right now, I am deciding between two options: getting a 7950 or getting a 7850 with a 120GB SSD.

I will be building a new PC at roughly around Christmas time, and I've started planning. The rest of my specs would most likely be as follows:
CPU: i5-3570k
Mobo: MSI z77a-GD65
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Power Supply: Corsair HX650w
Budget is around $1200-$1500. I left out the rest of the build; I don't see it as necessary to include them.

Playing games on eye-candy graphics would be preferable, but I'm not someone who NEEDS Ultra on everything I play. I would be playing at 1920x1080 resolution, and the games I'd like to play are Skyrim, Crysis (1 and 2), Diablo III, Portal 2 and maybe Battlefield 3. And yes, I would be installing highres texture mods on Skyrim. So I know the 7850 will do decently with these games more or less, but the 7950 is just... better overall.

Should I settle for the 7850 and get an SSD or get the 7950, which will probably last a lot longer for me? The difference I'm looking at is $100 between the two cards, and I can pump that into an SSD that I don't have or something nice, like 5 boxes of pizza.
