Method for disable the onboard graphic for p8z77-v motherboard

Hello,

i have problem with my graphic card (GeForce gtx550 Ti direct CU Top). It cannot be detected. i cannot see it in the device manager.
My motherboard is p8z77-v.

I had try several method. i reinstall the OS. I update the BIOS revision. I disable the on-board graphic in device manager.
But all seem not work. I found that when i change the setting in BIOS for graphic configuration from Auto to PCI-E and i save it before exit. But It automatically change back to Auto when i re-login to BIOS to confirm. So funny. Can someone please advise how to do so that OS can detect my graphic card? Thanks.....

have you installed the gpu correctly(includes the 6 pin power connector). have you tried using the other pci-e slot on the mobo as well(even if its 4x, at least its a way to test if the card is dead or not)

Yes. I did installed the GPU with the 6 pin power connector. FYI. The fan for the Graphic card is working.
