Memory Benchmarks

Greetings all!

I am curious as to why I am getting such poor memory benchmarks in SiSoft Sandra 2001. I am currently running an AMD Tbird 1200 @ 1400 (10.5 multiplier x 133 fsb), 256 MB of Crucial PC2400 DDR, Asus A7A266 mobo. My benchmarks are significantly lower than all comparable systems listed in the SiSoft comparison table.

i believe the a7a266 is the dual sdram/ddram board is it not? with the ali magik chipset?
that particular chipset isnt very good with performance compared to most others.
and also, check in your bios to make sure you have the ram running at minimum latencies.
also, make sure absolutely nothing else is running when u do the benchmarks.
and do them more than once too... sandra's benchmarks vary a little
