Need some help with psu calculator

Hi guys i need some on calculating the power that my system uses. I am little confused on the questions asked

in the psu calculating sites


so i request you to calculate it for me

my specs

mobo: dh61ww

ram: 2*2 4gb ddr3

gpu: hd 6670 1gb ddr5

hard disk : 500gb

1 DVD-RW/DVD+RW Drive

i fan that is present on the cabinet while buying itself

2 usb ports

monitor : acer g195Hq


these are all the specs i know about my computer


please do it for me as i have to upgrade my gpu

considering your system only(not the monitor)
it must be 300w(approx)
if you are planning to buy a psu it must be 400 watt or more considering your gpu
always buy a good psu from antec,cosair etc.

how much power do you think is required in 12v rail

I'm not quite clear on the GPU. Is the 6670 the upgrade ? If not what are you looking at ?

Are you in fact trying to find out if the Power supply you have now can run a certain GPU ?
