For semi-descent gaming with a 1600X900 max resolution monitor should I A) pick up another 67XX series card for crossfire. or B) upgrade to a 7770 or a 7850.

Current system specs.
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Mobo
8GB ram 2x4GB sticks Gskill 1600mhz Sniper low voltage.
FX-4170 running at 4.74Ghz
Coolermaster gemini IIs cpu cooler
Rosewill 850W PSU
80GB Mushkin SSD
500GB WD HDD
HAF 932 case w/ extra case fans.

Edit: I would like to stick with AMD and I would like to spend less than $225 shipped with tax (zip 95503 california)

That's more card than you'll need @ 1600x900, but it will allow for a monitor size upgrade in the future if you so desire. The HD 7850 2GB would be more than adequate at your present rez. In fact, a 1GB card is about all the VRAM you'll use @ 1600x900. Still, the HD 7870 2gb is a nice choice if you see a larger monitor in your future.

I was thinking a second monitor for a web browser rather than have my low end system next to me. I'm not sure what would be an upgrade monitor wise considering crysis 2 and skyrim seem to do well on this one. But now you have given me one more thing to want to upgrade. :kaola:
