Red Screen of death.....maybe?

Hi, I've just got a new rig! Its great apart from the RED SCREEN OF DEATH!

My spec

I7 3930K
Evga classified MOBO
2 x Gigabyte GTX690
Corsair 4x8GB 1600 quad ram
Windows 7 X64
Geforce 306.02 driver.
8 x dell u2412m displays

I run all 8 displays while working, and usually game on one. So I switch from Non-SLI mode to Quad SLI regularly. Almost every switch leads to the Red Screen. The computer seems to be running behind the red screen and I can often start programs and it might, just spring back to life, but at the very least I can shut it down properly using the power switch. When in multi screen mode, the red screen usually only affects 3 of the 8 displays, these three are always different!

I don't have any gpu tweaking software on the system, I've heard this to be an issue with other models.

I also get flicker every now and again!

Any thoughts you kind souls may have would be awesome!
