Will a Sapphire AMD 6670 DDR3 run Battlefield 3 with everything set to low on a 1600x900 resolution? If not, will it run at 1366x768 or 1400x900?

Alright, I asked some guy on youtube and he said if I overclock it to 900 core and 900 memory I will be able to play Medium at 1600x900. Will overclocking bring up the temps too much on the Sapphire AMD 6670? Will it make it not last as long? The current stock clock is 800mhz

Lol Altiris, good name, good software too ;)

I'm just not sure how Multiplayer will work with that Celeron CPU. I know on Ultra detail it won't work on more than a 32 player map (too much lag because of 100% cpu usage). Does anyone else use a celeron at medium settings and plays BF3?

That 6670 is not the problem, I would worry about the CPU more.

Alright thanks, lol I got my name from an anti virus software I think many years ago. I am upgrading to the Pentium g620. This would help with multiplayer and also with the future with graphics cards correct?

Wow, I didn't know that. Well I will probably play around 20 players. I also will be playing games like CoD4, Minecraft, Blacklight Ret. etc. I know if it can run BF3 it can run those games, which is my main concern. I can overclock it a little bit, is 100mhz a lot to overclock? (Ik how to overclock, read the temps and fan speed and all that)

I see. Yeah as long as it's not too many players it should be ok. 100Mhz is not much of overlock, 500Mhz is where you start seeing results but the Cerleron and Pentium processors are locked so they cannot be overclocked anyway. I also had a G530 I think (I had the 2.4Ghz cerleron) and couldn't overclock it.
