Price difference between HD7950 and GTX 660ti is small but i think HD7950 is 20$ cheaper depends on brand and in what store you buy. HD7950 overclock amazing and when you overclock it it would be like HD7970 which is 100$ more i think. When you enable AA/MSAA in game you will have a lot better picture in games because it removes jaggies. And another thing is AF in games that is also good in GTX660ti because you only loose 1-5fps when you enable max 16xAF so you will be fine. AF is thing that renders how much details will be on far objects from you. So i will get HD7950 and overclock it. Overclocking is also easy and every motherboard can do it. Cheers :)

Looks good. I would get the i5-3570k instead and get a 7970/GTX 670 instead of the GTX 660 Ti. Personally I recommend the 7970 because I own 2 7950s and they OC extremely well, the 7970s are supoosed to OC even better.

it's a 24inched size monitor so it's I think 1920-1080
I'm using it for editing programs as well. Not just gaming.

+1^ That was i going for to say too. change to i5-3570k and grab GTX670 or HD7950/70 instead of GXT660ti because it has 192bit and it will suffer with AA/MSAA.

Heavy editing? Because if you do heavy editing i7 will be better because it has 4 cores and 6 threads and i5 got 4 cores 4 threads. Just think.. if you will need much editing then go for i7 3770k and if you can change GTX660ti to at least HD7950.

Btw jaggies are weird cut lines.. like pixels and when you don't have AA enabled mostly on lower resolutions you will have some objects weird because of that lines. When you got bigger resolution(more than 1080p) you will not gonna need AA.

Yes it will be enough because it is good brand and it delivers full 550W. HD7950 require Max 200W but if you overclock it maybe 250-270W. So video card 250W, Processor 77W and other parts around 100-200W. That is lets say 400-470W and you have a headroom which will be nice. Hope i helped :)

I've actually had problems with this new monitor from my old comp. Gt9800 nvidia. My screens begins to flicker green colours and then crashes. Even says nvidia drivers not responds. Not really sure why though. I'm pretty sure it's not the monitor fault. It's brand new.

um I was told in the store they couldn't get the cmpsu vx550 because it's not out in Australia yet, but they recommended me something called cmpsu VS 550, still a corsair but I don't know if that's good. Apparently it's new
