Hello. I recently purchased some upgrades for my existing computer to make it a cheap gaming rig. I purchased another stick of 4gb RAM, a 650 watt power supply, and a EVGA Geforce GTX 550 Ti. The RAM and the PSU installed fine and the computer booted fine when I installed them. But, when I installed the graphics card, there was a black screen. After looking around It was a common problem, and all you needed to do was to boot to the bios and change the graphics options to my PCI-E slot. Although, when I took the video card out and put the VGA in the integrated graphics slot (Motherboard) there was still a black screen. I am very frustrated, that I paid $300 for parts and they didn't work. I really hope I don't have to return the GPU. Any help would be amazingly kind.

Specs (Off the top of my head):

Windows 7 64-bit home premium
MSI 760GM-p21 (FX) (mother board)
AMD Phenom II X6 1045T 2.70GHz AM3 Processor
EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB GDDR5
ULTRA LSP650 650W ATX POWER SUPPLY
2 TB HDD

Things Ive tried:
Taking out the gpu and putting the VGA cable back into integrated graphics (Black screen)
Leaving in the gpu and putting the VGA cable back into integrated graphics slot (Black screen)
Testing the monitor and VGA cable (Both work fine)
Switching plug outlets (Both plugs work)
Taking out the cmos battery and putting it back in (Black screen)

Once again, thanks in advance for any help.
