Can cat6 ethernet cable be used with any switch that accepts cat5e

I have seen 5-port network switches (for home network use)for sale that list CAT5 and CAT5e as the cabling. My question is, can CAT6 cable be used with these switches without performance issues?

Yes, CAT 6 is higher quality and will work fine.
