Help me to choose right PSU

Will a standard ATX 600W PSU fit in my HP Compaq DC7700 Convertible Minitower PC.

no idea. does it use atx mountings? measure the size of the psu inside the case (width) and see if its the same compared to other atx power supplies

That looks to have regular ATX mountings. Any power supply you put in there should work fine, but if you are upgrading to use a graphics card, I would recommend getting a quality unit. One from a nice name like Antec, Corsair, or Seasonic.
