just built a new pc and have skimped and not bought my graphics card yet. will do in 2 weeks once i get paid.
just wondering what difference it will make to non gaming activities?
i have tried searching google but not so much i could find out
i understand my fps will be good for games. but will my computer look different for general tasks such as browsing the internet etc?

I was asleep wen you asked.

But there won't be a difference obviously. With some applications and software it can take advantage of your GPU, i.e. Photoshop etc.

Windows 7 can also benefit from it vaguely but the benefit is very minor across the board with having a gaming GPU.
