GTX 560 Ti Shows up in Windows as a Radeon 3000hd

Hello,
I have been trying to figure this problem out for the last 2 days. Any information on this subject would be great. I apologize in advance if there is already a thread on this topic, but after alot of googling, I haven't found one. The issue is that after having a Radeon HD 5450 in my system, I decided to upgrade and found a great deal on a Zotac GTX 560 Ti so I picked it up, went home, and as soon as I installed it, my system showed that I had installed a Radeon HD 3000. After uninstalling the driver and restarting my system, device manager just installs the driver for a HD3000 again. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What motherboard are you using and does it have onboard video? If so, make sure you turn off onboard video in the bios.

Disable your onboard video.

Are you plugging the monitor to the card or the motherboard? You should plug it to the card.
