Computer freezes when watching videos

Hello, sorry if this is in the wrong category but I didn't know where else this would fit.

Specs are:
i3 Processor i3-550 3.20GHz
Sapphire Radeon 4670 HD
ASUS P7H55-M PRO mobo
4gb RAM
500W PSU
Windows 7 64 bit

I've having a problem with my prebuilt pc that I bought about two years ago. Whenever I'm watching a video on youtube or netflix, it will randomly freeze and the audio will either be in slow motion or make a buzzing sound. When it's frozen, I can't move the cursor or hit any keys.

I've tried updating the drivers of both my video card and my onboard driver but that didn't solve anything.

I am having the same issue with my 6670. did you happen to find the reason for it?

I reinstalled Windows and have since been using a 9800gt. It was most likely a Windows problem but I can't rule out the possibility of it being ATI related.

Try reinstalling Windows first and see if that works.
