Dear All,

I just bought a Powercolor HD 7750 on 11th Sep. This is my first graphic card and I installed it and its running ok. Since I am not having an HDMI cable with me, I am running it with connecting it through VGA Cable via DVI connector Till i buy a new cable.

My problem is that I am experiencing some problems while playing games like COD4, Assassin creed Brotherhood, AC2, and even COD WAW as there is continuos lag, whether playing at ULTRA HIGH, MEDIUM or LOWER SETTINGS.

My PC configurations are as Follows:

CPU : AMD Phenom II X-2 555BE-3.2GHZ (fully Overclocked) to X4
RAM: 4GB DDRIII-1333
GPU: Powercolor HD 7750
PSU: FOXIN 450W (local company price about $10)
OS : Windows 7 ultimate-32 BIT
Direct X: 11

My friend was telling to update my PSU that he feels that this may be an issue. But i was thinking that it may be issue with the Low RAM or Due to unavailibility of HDMI cable or may be that i removed my previous radeon 3000 graphics drivers

I have a good Motherboard with integerated 1GB radeon 3000 graphics. I used to play the above games at low settings of 640X480 or 800X600 resolutions and there used to be no lag whatsoever.

Also please recommend apart from CCC and directx, what are the other necessary softwares for a gaming PC.

check the temp on CCC. Could be the PSU, as you get what you pay for.

What resolution are you playing at ? Also the PSU is pretty terrible.

10 dollar PSU can easily destroy 400 dollars worth of hardware.

its definately your psu..am sure it cant supply the required amps your 7750 needs to function properly.. upgrade your psu to a good quality corsair ASAP

Try disabling your core unlock and overclock and if it plays better you deffinately have a PSU issue although I am very sure you have a psu issue

I finally Solved the problem. uninstalled all the video drivers including CCC and everything related to GPU.

And done a clean install of GPU drivers and now everything runs fine.
